Michael Jackson`s glove is sold for $190,000
The crystal-studded garment - which was worn by the `King of Pop` on his 1984 `Victory` tour - sold for 10 times more than its pre-sale estimate.
Winning bidder Wanda Kelley said: "I wasn`t walking out of here without that glove."
The sale was part of an auction of more than 200 pieces of Michael Jackson memorabilia at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas on 25.06.10 to mark the first anniversary of the `Thriller` hitmaker`s death.
Totalling just under $1 million, the auction also saw a pair of the singer`s loafers - which he wore while performing - sell for $90,000.
Darren Julien, of Julien`s Auctions, explained: "It just shows you Michael Jackson is the most sought after and most collectible celebrity of all time. It was just phenomenal.
"People flew in from Asia, Russia, all over. Now he`s gone, we now realise the true legend we lost."
In November 2009, one of Jackson`s iconic white gloves sold for $350,000 at auction, with Hong Kong businessman Hoffman Ma picking up the rhinestone studded item for well over its estimated value of $50,000.
